Kashmiri Salt Tea

Kashmiri Salt Tea Recipe
INGREDIENTS:

• 1/4 Tea spoon Tea leaves. 
• 1 pinch meetha soda (sodium bicarbonate). 
Salt to taste. 
• 1 table spoon malai (fresh Cream). 
• 1 elaichi (Cardamom). 
• 3g crushed fresh adrak (Ginger). 
• 1 steel patila. 

How to make Kashmiri Salt Tea

 

METHOD:

• Put tea leaves and meetha soda in a steel patila and add two cups of water. 
• Keep it on a low flame for 20-25 minutes till the colour is blakish red. 
• Add 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup milk, ginger, salt and crushed cardamom. 
• Boil it on a medium flame. 
• Pour in a cup, add cream and enjoy the taste and heavenly freshness
